Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this bulletin coordinator application, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application.

What This Application Is

This is a personal project created and operated by Robert Hicks for use by a single local congregation. It is provided as a free service to help coordinate the weekly ward bulletin. It is not a commercial product, not affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and not offered to other congregations or to the general public.

Eligible Users

You may use this application only if:

• You are a member of the authorized ward congregation.
• You have been invited by a ward administrator to use the application.
• You are at least 13 years old.
• You use the application only for its intended purpose (submitting and managing ward bulletin content).

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Protecting your phone number and session information. Do not share your login credentials.
• Ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of any content you submit (announcements, images, text).
• Obtaining rights to publish any third-party content or images you submit.
• Complying with ward guidelines and policies regarding bulletin content.
• Using the application in good faith and in compliance with applicable law.

Administrator Responsibilities

Ward administrators who manage this application are responsible for:

• Verifying that users are authorized ward members before granting access.
• Reviewing and approving submitted announcements before publication.
• Ensuring that published content complies with ward guidelines and policies.
• Protecting admin login credentials and reporting suspicious activity.

Content and Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to content you create and submit (text, images, announcements). By submitting content to this application, you grant the ward a non-exclusive license to publish that content in the weekly bulletin and archive.

The bulletin coordinator application itself is owned by Robert Hicks. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the software without explicit permission.

No Warranty

THIS APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Robert Hicks makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the application's fitness for any particular purpose, reliability, availability, or accuracy.

The application may contain bugs, experience downtime, or lose data. Use of this application is at your own risk. Regular backups of critical content are your responsibility.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robert Hicks and any contributors shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the application, including but not limited to lost data, lost revenue, lost opportunity, or any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

If the law in your jurisdiction does not permit this limitation, you assume full responsibility for any and all use of the application.

Termination and Discontinuation

Robert Hicks may discontinue or significantly modify this application at any time without notice or liability. Users may stop using the application at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the application ceases immediately, but any bulletins that have been published will remain in the archive.

Governing Law and Venue

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date will reflect any changes. If material changes are made, an administrator may notify users. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Miscellaneous

Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement: These terms, along with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Robert Hicks regarding use of this application and supersede all prior agreements.
